IMAGINE PEACE FOUNDATION

Presents

A Year of Gifting Week 19

Safe Harbor Lab Rescue

This past week I had the privilege to meet Toby and his wonderful owner, Kit, at a fun place called the Olde Town Pickin Parlor www.picknparlor.com nestled in Arvada, Colorado.  Toby is a joyful, affectionate, blonde lab who radiates exuberance and despite the fact that he only has 3 legs it doesn't stop him from getting around with ease and spreading his light around a jam packed room.  This week I'd like to honor the Safe Harbor Lab Rescue who found a loving home for Toby who's earned a place in the heart of everyone who visits the fun festivities at the Pickin Parlor.  Please make it a point to visit Toby he's surrounded by high-end acoustic guitars and other "pickin" instruments and on show nights you can listen to some foot stomping western tunes along with a variety of meaningful melodies.  Join me this week in contributing a minimum of $3-$10 to this compassionate organization-Safe Harbor Lab Rescue-and help me make a tail wag and a heart smile.

Our Mission

Safe Harbor Lab Rescue's mission is to rescue and successfully rehome stray, abandoned or surrendered Labrador Retrievers located primarily in Colorado. We partner with professionals to provide medical care, training resources and breed education.

"Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace."
