The Peace Mobile borrows its concept from the familiar Book Mobiles used by public library systems throughout the nation that bring reading, learning and entertaining experiences to patrons who are unable to travel to library facilities due to economic or health reasons. As the name implies, a Peace Mobile is a large vehicle capable of housing the space, equipment, supplies and staff needed to deliver the experience of the Imagine Peace Center’s rooms and programs to guests who are unable to travel to or are unaware of the Imagine Peace Center’s offerings.
The mission of the Imagine Peace Foundation is to provide educational and creative activities, programs, and events in a setting that allows children and adults to explore and connect with what peace means to them and to provide tools that empower them to live it. Our programs are designed to help participants learn both how to live more peaceful and less stressful lives than they might be currently living and how to share that peace with others.
